Lisa, Billy, Mishell This is Lisa along with Billy, and Mishell. Everyone became fast friends as you can see from all the photos as you browse around The Singers Club, but Mishell and Lisa became very close. They keep in touch regularly by phone and email, and live approximately 7 hours apart and plan to visit each other in the future. Friendships like these will be the one's you only read about in the "hope-chests" of your grandparents lifelong treasures. "Distance" is only geographical, friends like these are close to the heart and always in your mind every day of the year.

Lisa on stage Lisa took the stage with a smile. She chose "Twenty-Six Cents" as her selection, if you closed your eyes, you would be certain that you were listening to the real thing, and could see the video playing in your mind. Friday night after rehearsals, we were told which show we would be performing in. It was after midnight, so technically, it was Saturday when we left the studio. Lisa was in the first lineup off shows 1 and 2. This was added pressure for those performers. This meant, after flying or driving all day Friday, going almost directly to the studio for sound checks, lighting, and vocal rehearsals, you were expected to return in nearly 8 hours to give a televised performance competition for a spot at the Finals in Nashville.

Performing before an audience is one thing, but that audience also being your friends, and competitors..... that's another. We all wanted everyone to do well. Each of us knew how important this was to each other. Just to be a part of the individuals who were chosen to be contestants in Texas event was an accomplishment in itself. We were all proud to be in that "circle" of talent and will never forget it as long as we live.
