Lisa Simpson is a survivor. She has been through many trying times and still managed to come out on top. Lisa was born in St. Louis, Missouri, The youngest of three children. But her family moved to Southeast Missouri when she was very young. Lisa's father is a General Baptist Minister, so she grew up in church singing in the choir and singing solos in her church."There was always singing around the house, My oldest brother and sister were always singing , so I just joined in". Her first solo experience outside of church came in her 6th grade Christmas Program. She sang"I'll Be Home For Christmas" and received a standing ovation."From that moment on I was hooked on performing and being the extrovert that I am, I sang for everyone that would listen". During her High School years, Lisa sang in the choir and sang many solos. After graduation, she married and started a family. But the marriage ended after 5 years. This left Lisa a single mother of three at the age of 23."That was very tough for me, There were times I didn't think we'd make it,but I put my trust in the Lord and with the support of my family we pulled through it".

After her divorce, Lisa moved to Evansville IN. While living there Lisa joined a popular local band called, Starbound. But the call of home was strong, and eventually Lisa came back to Southeast Missouri. It was there she met her current husband Chris."Chris is the light of my life, he really rescued me, and helped me get my career in high gear, He is my BIGGEST FAN". It was around this time her singing really took off. She competed in the Missouri State Singing Finals, and also competed on a Nationally televised program in Houston, TX. And now the biggest stop, Lisa is embarking on a recording career, " I'm so excited about this I can't put it into words."Lisa Simpson is poised to explode on the scene and soon everyone will here this Ol' Missouri girl sing!
