Strauss.... definitely one of the "Naturals" in the industry. Those who
meet this man, won't soon forget him. Beyond the talented voice that flows from his
lips, he has the moves that make people squirm in their seats. Billy began his
journey in Houston and won his way
to this Nashville competition. He again chose "Zuit Suit Riot" changing
only the color of his attire.... that "spark" was still burning wild.
Billy entered the stage proclaiming a message from the past that went something like this "Good afternoon, Cats and Dolls. I'm going to
take you on a trip, back to my time; the roaring 20's. Financial depression spread all
across America, the government put a ban on all alcoholic beverages- so all that we had
left to do was: Dance, Sing....and Swing!" |

described by another competitor. Billy re-invented himself for the second set.
Going from one era to another with as much style and talent as his first
performance. Judges took notice and placed him in the FINALS. He selected
"Delilah" equipped with yet another personal monologue as he took the stage in
his Classic Tuxedo. "Greetings
and Salutations ladies and gentlemen. I know I may look rather "civilized," But
I want you to know something;
I hold a deep, dark secret- way down inside." |
