Verity graduated with a degree in Drama specialising in Musical Theatre. Studies included Musical Theatre Performance, Acting approaches, Music theory and set Verity on track to incorporate music throughout her career to date…
Having been interested in music from a young age (singing before she was talking), Verity has been an active member with a choir for over 10 years; participating in competitions, rehearsals and performing at Demontfort Hall, Royal Albert Hall as part of UK Tours. She is also passionate about providing opportunities for children and has been Music Lead for 4 years extending her role as a Primary School Teacher – encouraging children’s musical access. Verity as facilitated musical events/ workshops and recently completed training with BAST to become a singing coach with particular interest in Vocal Anatomy, Musical Theatre, Modern Pop and developing student’s vocal ability to portray a range of musical styles and genres.
I see singing as such an incredible outlet and a way of helping others to grow in confidence, not only with singing, but in day to day life too. I cannot wait to help you to achieve your singing goals!
Verity’s own most recent performances have included the wonderfully hilarious show ‘Miscast’, A Musical Showcase Night, Hallaton Summer Musical festival and Special Requests to perform at Wedding Ceremonies. Verity Quotes “Being on stage… is one of the best feelings in the world!”
Since being a part of The Singers Club, she has helped with running the club nights, in which singers have the opportunity to perform in positive and encouraging environment, as well as the studio days allowing her to offer the performers support and guidance. Moving forward – Verity is very excited to curate her own group of enthused singing students and help them with the confidence to pave their own musical journeys.
